The Bittersweets On One Tree Hill
On January 19th, "When the World Ends" was featured on One Tree Hill on the WB.

The Bittersweets reviewed in Blurt!
"Mostly, they make for an immediate embrace, manifest in the compelling choruses
of "Wreck," "Bordertown" and the anthemic title track, as well as the hushed repose of "Is Anyone Safe," "Lies" and "When the War is Over." Ultimately, Goodnight San Francisco makes for a lovely nocturnal encounter,
even though it finds darkness falling fast."

Country Music Television writes...
"I am not ambivalent about the Bittersweets, a rootsy band that recently moved
from San Francisco to Nashville. I think they’re 100 percent terrific."

The Nashville Scene writes...
"The Bittersweets build their pop-folk arrangements around the alto of Hannah
Prater, who sports a sure-handed, easy sultriness in her lower register and a
fragile beauty when shifting to a higher tone. But the trio's new album, Goodnight,
San Francisco, eventually reveals that the band's greatest assets are the insightful,
conversational lyrics of guitarist Chris Meyers, who has found a lovely delivery
system in Prater's voice."

The Tennessean writes...
"Dumb luck is meeting a high-powered music attorney at a party and sliding into
a record deal that way. This band's fortunes have more to do with Meyers' songs
and
Prater's dusky, evocative voice ...out
next Tuesday on Compass Records, Goodnight, San Francisco is a melancholy beauty,
built from melody and poetry."

Yes, you have to get to the last paragraph to see us mentioned, but a great article about some outstanding artists on compass records!

We're back home in Nashville after many weeks of touring all over the place. We have some summer shows lined up around the Southeast so check our schedule to find a live show near you!

Hi all!!! We made it from L.A. to Colorado safely, though we'll be hunting for a couple of new tires to replace the bald ones today. =) We have shows coming up in Fort Collins, Manitou Springs and Denver. We're so thrilled to be here after a really long drive. Hope to see many of you at the shows!

We had really fun shows in Portland and Seattle. Thanks to all who came out! We're playing in San Francisco tonight at a wonderful listening venue. It's great to be back in a familiar place!!!!
